Important: Driver requires a valid driver's license or driving permit (car, motorcycle or snowmobile).

No experience of snowmobiling is required - the guide will provide the individual with training and guidance.

We have insurance on the scooter with a deductible of NOK 6,000. If other insurance is preferred, the individual must arrange this with their insurance company before arrival.

Extra information: With only 2-3 participants, there will be an additional fare of NOK1500 per person. Other guests may appear in the cabin.

Price includes:

• Experienced guide with necessary safety equipment

Recommended/required to bring:

• Good and warm woolen base layers, or equivalent wool
• Valid driver's license for car, motorcycle or snowmobile
• A pair of thin mittens/mitts to wear under big mittens
• Our snowmobiles do not have storage rooms/boxes, so we recommend a small backpack for camera, extra clothes etc.
• Extra packed lunch if needed

Take part in our 24-hour adventure through the incredible Svalbard wilderness on snowmobiles. In an intimate group of no more than six, we'll journey to the East Coast, an area untouched by the Gulf Stream current and adorned with blue icebergs encased in sea ice. This special place is also prime hunting grounds for polar bears. There's no need to rush - this adventure is as much about the journey as the destination! Along the way, we'll stop for the night in a secluded trapper cabin, the closest tourist cabin to the East Coast, offering a cosy and isolated retreat. The best part of all - we'll reach the East Coast ahead of any other groups, giving you the exclusive opportunity to experience its landscape and a better chance to encounter wildlife without the crowds.

Dag 1:

Your adventure begins in the late afternoon when our guide picks you up from your accommodation. After a thorough safety briefing and general information session at our storage facility, we set out on snowmobiles, leaving civilization behind. The first leg of our journey takes us through the vast, flat expanse of Adventdalen, an ideal terrain for getting familiar with driving the snowmobile. As you glide across the valley, the anticipation builds for the adventure ahead. By late evening, we reach our cabin in Fulmardalen, where we’ll eat a quick dinner and then settle in for the night, surrounded by the quiet solitude of the Arctic wilderness.

Dag 2:

We start the day early with a robust breakfast, fueling up for the journey ahead. With the morning light casting a golden glow over the snow, we jump on our snowmobiles and head towards the East Coast, driving through otherworldly landscapes. Arriving early, before any other groups, we find ourselves in a true winter wonderland, where the sea ice meets the coastline, offering a rare sense of solitude. We spend the morning exploring this environment, venturing on and off the sea ice, fully immersed in nature. After lunch, we slowly begin our journey back to Longyearbyen.
