This is a medium demanding hike.
Price includes:
- Transport round trip
- Hot drink and biscuits
- Headlamp if necessary
- Guide with necessary safety equipment
- Snowshoes/hiking poles if needed
Recommend to bring:
- Good, warm and worn-in hiking boots*
- Warm clothes
- Cold drink (preferably in a thermos as liquid can freeze to ice)
- Camera
- Warm jumper for the journey home and breaks
- Backpack
*If you do not have warm hiking boots, these can be rented for NOK 100.

Itinerary
Join us on an exciting, culturally historic walk from mining to Svalbard's global seed vault.
We pick up the guests at their accommodation and this tour starts by walking towards the top of Blomsterdalshøgda, which is located at approx. 320 meters above sea level.
Here we get a great view of Adventfjorden and the surrounding area. We will see the cable car trestles from the mining era and towards Mine 3 - one of the closed mines on Svalbard.
Our guide will tell you about Svalbard and about Svalbard's Global Seed Vault which is located inside the mountain. We will not enter the seed vault during this tour.
