    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Hazel D, April 2024 - TripAdvisor:

Took on the combined day hike to Trollsteinen and a trip to a glacier ice cave. Had such a good day - the hike was rewarding but not too tough and our guide Nicholas kept a good pace with frequent stops to tell us more about the wonderful scenery! Ice cave was another world and a fun diversion before heading back to town. Great day thanks!

Join us to the top of the characteristic mountain Trollsteinen, 850 meters above sea level and which lies like a horseshoe around Larsbreen. Along the way, we visit an ice cave.  This is the trip for those who want to experience more - you get two great experiences in one and the same adventure.

The trip starts with a hike in an exciting moraine landscape, before we cross Larsbreen and head towards an ice cave. Depending on the nature of the group, we visit the cave on the way up or on the way back.

Under Svalbard's glaciers during winter season we find a frozen adventure of meltwater channels. Before the cave visit, we put on a helmet, spikes and headlamp and then go down into the cave. We spend some time down in the ice, so that you can experience the underground world with the mighty ice crystals.

When we have finished in the ice cave, we continue up towards Trollsteinen. On the back and at the top, the view is fantastic!
