The trip is medium to demanding, mountain hike and some cave crawling must be expected. 

The trip is not suitable for people in bad shape, with back problems or claustrophopia.

Price includes:

•  Transport round trip accommodation 
•  Ice cave - equipment incl. headlamp 
•  Lunch and hot drinks 
•  Guide with necessary safety equipment 
•  Snowshoes/hiking poles if needed
   

Recommended to bring:

•  Solid, warm and worn in mountain boots* 
•  Warm clothing 
•  Cold drinks (preferably in a thermos as liquid can freeze to ice) 
•  Camera 
•  Down/primaloft jacket or sweather for breaks and way down 
•  Day backpack
   

If you do not have warm hiking boots, these can be rented for NOK 100.

Tour description
Join us to the top of the characteristic mountain Trollsteinen, 850 meters above sea level and which lies like a horseshoe around Larsbreen. Along the way, we visit an ice cave.  This is the tour for those who want to experience more - you get two great experiences in one and the same adventure.

The trip starts with a hike in an interesting moraine landscape, before we cross Larsbreen and head towards an ice cave. Depending on the nature of the group, we visit the cave on the way up or on the way back.

Under Svalbard's glaciers in winter we find a frozen adventure of meltwater channels. Before the cave visit, we put on a helmet, spikes and headlamp and then go down into the cave. We spend some time down in the ice, so that you can experience the underground world with the mighty ice crystals.
When we have finished in the ice cave, we continue up towards Trollsteinen. On the back and at the top, the view is fantastic!
