Easy to moderately demanding.

Price includes:

• Transport round trip
• Warm expedition lunch and warm drink
• Headlamp if necessary
• Guide with necessary safety equipment
• Snowshoes / hiking poles if needed

Recommend to bring:

• Good, warm and worn-in hiking boots*
• Warm clothes
• Cold drink (preferably in a thermos as liquid can freeze to ice)
• Camera
• Warm jumper for the journey home and breaks
• Backpack

*If you do not have warm hiking boots, these can be rented for NOK 100.

Bring your own packed lunch if necessary.

Extra clothing and equipment: Arctica

The trip to Foxfonna starts high up on the mountain - our most unique hike! We pick up all participants and drive via Adventdalen where the guide tells about all the interesting things we pass up to the area where Foxfonna is located. There will be short photo stops along the way. Foxfonna is located on top of Breinosa and in a fantastic glacier area.

We use snowshoes if necessary. We make small stops along the way to enjoy the peace and quiet of the wonderful arctic nature.

At lunchtime, the guide finds a suitable place where we enjoy our lunch out in nature. We are a couple of hours' walk from the beautiful Gilson ridge at 950 meters above sea level with a great view over Nordenskiöld land. The trip there is not included.
