Cross-Country Ski Adventure for Beginners

kr1,450.00Price

  • Season: January - May

When you clip into your skis, you notice the excitement! Maybe it’s your first time on skies, and yes, it might feel a little wobbly. You might even fall. But don’t worry! Just get back up, brush off the snow, and very soon you’ll discover how fun it is to glide forward - one foot at a time.

This tour is perfect for beginners who want to try skiing for the very first time. Your guide will show you all the basics and lead you into the beautiful Advent Valley for the perfect winter adventure. This is about learning something new, having a laugh with fellow teammates, and enjoying moving outside in nature all at once.

Listen to the satisfying crunch of snow under your skis. Feel the crisp Arctic air on your cheeks while your body warms up from the movement. Halfway through, we'll take a well-deserved break to enjoy some cookies and something warm to drink. Of course there is plenty of time to admire the mountains and soak in the frozen world around you.

Cross-country skiing is a beloved part of Norwegian culture and a favorite freetime activity for many locals in Longyearbyen. And who knows - if you enjoy your first taste of skiing, this might be the start of many more adventures in the future.
