Snowmobile Tour on Svalbard – your Arctic adventure
Svalbard and snowmobiling belong together. With more snowmobiles than inhabitants in town, this is not just a way to get around – it is the key to exploring hidden gems far beyond the settlement.
With a private snowmobile guide, the possibilities are endless. Following valleys, frozen riverbeds, and glaciers, you will quickly discover just how much this island has to offer. Depending on time and interests, we may encounter Svalbard reindeer, frozen waterfalls, secret ice caves, frozen fjords, bustling bird cliffs, impressive glacier fronts, and even Arctic pingos.
Going with a guide is not only safer, it also enriches the journey. Along the way you will learn about the Arctic ecosystem, its unique adaptations, and stories of hunters, trappers, and early explorers. At the same time, there will be plenty of moments to simply enjoy speeding through the white wilderness, pausing for photos, or just stopping to listen to the Arctic silence and take in the vastness around you.
Snowmobiling is easy to learn, and your guide will show you everything you need to know before departure. We provide warm snowmobile clothing, so you can focus on the adventure rather than the cold. During the trip, we take breaks to enjoy hot drinks and an expedition-style lunch in the field.
Be ready for an unforgettable day in the Arctic!
