Sarkofagen - Hiking trip in glacier landscape

Nyhetsbilde The trip will start by hiking up the east side of Sarkofagen, 500 masl, by the glacier Larsbreen. Here, we will have time for a stop, allowing us to enjoy the view of Longyearbyen and Isfjorden, before the trip continues southwards down to the glacier Longyearbreen.

Days:
Friday and Saturday in May/June and October/November.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday in July/August/September.
Tour start: 09:30 all tour days except Sundays. Sundays the trip will  start at 16:00.
Duration: approx. 6 hours


Min. participants:       1 person

Lowest age limit:         8 years


Prices:
Adults                           NOK 620,-
Children (8-15 years)   NOK 390,-


Price includes: Transportation from/to accommodation site, hot beverages, biscuits and experienced guide with necessary safety equipment
